The month of October is considered part of low season in the British Virgin Islands. Cruising in the low season at BVI has a lot of advantages. We sailed on "Somewhere" at the beginning of October, and it was the best trip we ever had. Everything was perfect. So, I highly recommend you consider Low or Mid season at BVI as a very attractive option, not even mentioning that this is also the most economical option.
